We are seeking an experienced User Research Manager to drive our research and marketing optimization efforts.
In this role, you will be responsible for two main areas:
- Strategic Research: Conduct in-depth user research and market analysis to inform company strategy and guide long-term decisions.
- Tactical Marketing Optimization: Improve the effectiveness of marketing materials, including landing pages, banners, and creatives, to enhance engagement and performance.
You will also be responsible for managing relationships with external research agencies and ensuring respondent recruitment aligns with target user profiles.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Research:
- Conduct Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) interviews with current and potential users to understand their needs and inform product and marketing strategy.
- Perform customer development interviews with users who have churned or declined services to gather insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to support business growth and identify new opportunities.
- Present research findings and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
- Manage relationships with external research agencies: Coordinate and oversee research projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and high-quality deliverables.
- Source and recruit respondents for research activities, ensuring they meet the desired target audience profiles for accurate insights.
Tactical Marketing Optimization:
- Lead corridor testing for landing pages, banners, and other creatives to improve messaging and design effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing and usability testing to refine marketing materials and drive conversion rates.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to align user insights with content and creative assets.
- Continuously iterate on marketing materials based on user feedback and performance data.
- Conduct UX/UI interviews;
- Conduct interviews with drop-off users who exited the funnel;
- Participate in marketing brainstorms;
- Suggest hypotheses for growth and conversion optimization.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in user research, customer insights, or marketing optimization;
- Proficient in English at a B2 level or above.
- Experience with JTBD interviews, customer development, and ad-hoc research;
- Proven experience managing external research agencies and ensuring the quality of their deliverables;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate both qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights;
- Proficiency in A/B testing, usability testing, and optimizing marketing materials;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
Work Schedule
- 5 days a week, flexible work hours; full time
- Fully remote setting
Salary Range
- $2000-2500 USD/month (gross), negotiable based on experience.
