Senior Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer manages the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and on-premises/cloud infrastructure. This includes system administration, networking, cloud environments, and security to support corporate, development, and production systems. The role also focuses on automation, innovation, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, Networking, and Cloud systems.
• Implement and automate deployments, monitoring, and system updates.
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
• Support hybrid cloud environments, including public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate across teams to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years in IT infrastructure, including 4+ years in mission-critical environments.
• Proficient in Windows, Linux, AD/DNS, O365, and networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
• Experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of security concepts, protocols (DNS, SMTP, HTTP), and load balancing.
• Preferred: AWS experience, hybrid cloud expertise, VMware, MySQL, and Infosec frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
