Head of Sales

We are currently seeking an exceptional Head of Sales to spearhead our ambitious sales department. This senior leadership role requires an individual who can inspire and motivate our high-performing sales teams towards reaching their goals and driving outstanding results in the market.

About us

Careerist is an online learning platform that trains tech job seekers and automates their job applications with software, leading to faster and higher placement. It features live and self-paced training via adaptive-learning software and partnerships with third-party tutors who teach on Careerist's infrastructure. It was founded by serial entrepreneurs in 2019 and has been backed by YCombinator and other VC investors with $5M in funding.

Techcrunch’s review of Careerist states: "Edtech meets SaaS in Careerist’s job placement learning platform. The startup trains job seekers through live and self-paced training taught by third-party tutors. The adaptive learning software is meant to help candidates prepare for tech interviews. Once a candidate is well equipped, Careerist uses automation to help them apply for jobs."

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of planned sales targets by product and managers (weekly/monthly/quarterly);
  • Tracking revenue generation dynamics, analytics of key metrics;
  • Control of customer interaction scenarios, standards, and regulations;
  • Monitoring the work of group leaders and sales consultants;
  • Developing a sales team development strategy and increasing profitability;
  • Managing sales teams and call centers;
  • Preparing reports for management;
  • Decomposition of the sales plan;
  • Interaction with marketing and product teams;
  • Forecasting revenue on a weekly/monthly basis;
  • Working with pricing, new course launches.

Background

  • You have a successful experience in managing a telephone sales department (service industry, digital, education) and can provide recommendations;
  • Experience in building a sales department from scratch;
  • Experience in managing an international team;
  • Experience in managing a sales team of 30+ employees;
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and team management;
  • Significant achievements in sales, held leading positions;
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and processes;
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
  • Passionate about sales and eager to develop in this field;
  • Knowledgeable about modern sales trends;
  • Available to work from 12 PM to 9 PM GMT +3.
