Senior BI Analyst/Lead (for Startup from Israel)

Our client, a rapidly growing platform transforming TV shows and movies into language-learning experiences, seeks a Senior BI Analyst/Lead to join their team. Since its inception, this company has experienced substantial growth and aims to expand its language offerings and global presence in 2023/2024.

We're seeking an individual who can adeptly maneuver through complex data landscapes to craft meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will possess sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate intricate data into actionable business strategies. 

Collaboration with diverse stakeholders requires strong process management and prioritization abilities. Above all, we seek a team player dedicated to advancing the company's strategic goals through astute data interpretation.

About The Role:

• Collaborate with executive management to set priorities and goals.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to understand and analyze business needs using data-driven insights.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics while ensuring data integrity.
• Provide insights to drive and support business decisions beyond raw data.
• Identify improvement areas and propose new opportunities.
• Manage and work with large datasets, creating tools to streamline processes.

What kind of candidate do we see in this role:

• Proven Data Analyst (not a Developer or Engineer) experience in startup tech companies (3+ years), preferably with a SaaS product.
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI/Analytics tools: Tableau, Big Query (or analog), and Looker (or analog).
• Fluent in English to confidently communicate with native English speakers and build a strong partnership position with Co-Founders (at least 2 years of solid work experience in English in a multinational company)
• Experience with digital marketing streams, especially attribution (marketing data) is important.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Outstanding team player with acute attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices - a plus.
• Ability to work according to GMT+2 (Israel) time zone schedule.
• Ability to work on a B2B contract.
• Ability to work outside of Russia and Belarus.
