🔹Position: SRE Team Lead

Spotware Systems is looking for an experienced SRE to join our office in Limassol.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the SRE team, setting clear goals, evaluating performance, and fostering professional development
• Design, implement, and manage the production observability infrastructure, including logging, monitoring and tracing.
• Configure monitoring dashboards, alerts, and metrics to track system health, performance, and reliability
• Continuously monitor system reliability, conduct troubleshooting activities, analyze incidents, and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrences
• Manage resolution of urgent technical issues escalated by the customer support team
• Coordinate backend releases, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of updates, patches, new configurations, and new features while maintaining system stability and performance.
• Coordinate developing and maintaining of automation tools and scripts to streamline operational tasks and enhance system efficiency
• Coordinate team activities, task assignments, and project planning to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Continuously improving processes and methodologies to enhance infrastructure quality and reliability

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Lead, or similar roles
• Proven leadership experience, including leading teams of engineers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in managing and configuring the production observability systems (zabbix, prometheus, graylog, ELK, etc)
• Experience in Linux/Unix Administration
• Basic understanding of network fundamentals and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems
