We are rapidly expanding and in immediate need of a dynamic Sales Director to lead our driven sales teams in achieving their targets and fostering professional growth. We are seeking a results-driven leader who can propel our teams to new heights of sales excellence and drive us towards unparalleled success in the market!

About us

Careerist is an online learning platform that trains tech job seekers and automates their job applications with software, leading to faster and higher placement. It features live and self-paced training via adaptive-learning software and partnerships with third-party tutors who teach on Careerist's infrastructure. It was founded by serial entrepreneurs in 2019 and has been backed by YCombinator and other VC investors with $5M in funding.

Techcrunch’s review of Careerist states: "Edtech meets SaaS in Careerist’s job placement learning platform. The startup trains job seekers through live and self-paced training taught by third-party tutors. The adaptive learning software is meant to help candidates prepare for tech interviews. Once a candidate is well equipped, Careerist uses automation to help them apply for jobs."

Responsibilities

Achieving sales targets (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly);

Tracking revenue trends on a daily basis;

Monitoring the work of team leaders and sales representatives;

Developing strategies to grow the group's sales and increase profits;

Preparing reports for management;

Breaking down sales plans;

Close collaboration with the marketing and product teams;

Monitoring key metrics such as revenue, conversion rate, average order value, lead response time, sales cycle, call duration, current sales pipeline, and reasons for lead closure;

Forecasting revenue on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/half-yearly basis.

Background

Successful experience in leading a telesales department (services, digital, training), with the ability to provide recommendations;

Significant achievements in sales, occupying leadership positions;

Understanding of marketing, design, and programming principles;

Familiarity with key sales metrics and indicators;

Passion for sales and a desire to develop in this field specifically;

Analytical skills;

Fluent English and Russian language skills (both oral and written).
